Thanks for your obvious infos…:-) Of course, I've tried the Stuttgart,
Frankfurt and Munich nodes too, got lots of dropouts at Stuttgart, less at
Frankfurt and Munich 😐 But they can't really beat the local phone rates i get
at Karlsruhe now…
You know the "autobahn problem"??

Back to the roots: my initial question was for the advantage of the announced
28.8kbps nodes when i can't even have true 9600 by an overloaded network. It
would make more sense to speedup the network by hardware or efficiency (!) than
the nodes. I've got some replies,but no _answer_ yet. Maybe, it's only 'cause
28.8 sounds better to the people 🙂
