BTW, in Germany the first Commodore PC is being advertized in ESCOM's monthly
leaflet (on front page even – heading "Commodore kommt…… und wie!"). The
picture shows a fairly standard pc desktop standing on its side to _look_ like
a tower with standard keyboard in front and a standard 14" monitor to the
right. The price for the "Commodore P 60" is DM 1698 incl. the monitor, or DM
1399 (US$ 1000) without. The machine has a 60MHz Pentium CPU, 420MB hard disk,
8MB RAM and comes with a 3 year warranty. The "top offer" is a double speed
CD-ROM drive for DM 99 (about US$ 70). In contrast to the regular ESCOM brand
PCs, the machine comes with no software.
