#LhA help!
3 messages in this thread
Hi, everyone! Hope one of you helpful souls will be able to give me some
direction on how to proceed with using S. Boberg's LhA.138. I've been unable to
do anything with the downloa the messages that have been posted about LhA. Any
assistance would be greatly appreciated! Please be as explicit as you can, I'm
pretty much a novice. Thanks
Type " copy lha138.run ram: " <- Without the quotes. Type " cd ram: " Type "
lha138.run "
That should do it. Then you type " copy lha c: ".
good luck…

Michael,
Let's try this. I don't know where you have LHA138.RUN, but I'm going to
pretend it is DH0:Downloads. You can change the path to fit your own.
First, open a shell.
Then, type:
COPY DH0:DOWNLOADS/LHA138.RUN RAM:
CD RAM:
LHA138.RUN (this will unpack the program, giving you a doc file and LHA)
COPY LHA C: (puts LHA into your commands directory for easy use)
After you have LHA unpacked and in your c: directory, you can:
CD to the directory where your archived file is, and then type:
lha x filename.lha or .lzh – as the case might be.
