#Epson Gamma?

Gus, Thanks for the reply, even though I filed this in the wrong forum. I read the same advice you give in Inside 3DS, and so I set output gamma to 1 in the 3ds.set file (which the book recommends rather than just turning it off). When I rendered a scene to a targa and opened it up into Photoshop, it was Really dark. So, I'm a little confused. Any idea what I did wrong?

The Epson printer is primarily a linear device (gamma = 1.0). What might be happening is that you have Photoshop itself set to some other gamma value. Make sure everything in the queue is using gamma 1.0, specially your monitor if you want to see the right color before printing it. This is a very different setting than when dealing with video images.
