Michele, I wish I'd have been able to make it to SIGGRAPH this year. I'm envious! Thanks for letting me use your LOUNGE.3DS for my furniture. It's changed a little but still makes for a simple environment. The idea of putting thin boxes or a hemisphere outside or around the room and applying the bitmap to them solves the "spinning room" problem, but I can't understand why with boxes it's nothing but horizontal streaks, and with the hemisphere it's so blury now. The mapping coordinates are the correct type and were properly adjusted to the best of my knowledge. I've even played with distance from the camera. Any other suggestions? I'm all eyes. Tim

Try using Box mapping or try mapping Faces on each side of the box object seperately to eliminate streaking. For the blurry hemisphere, try increasing the tiling, adjust the blur setting for the material, or use a higher res bitmap. It could be any of those problems. Good luck -Ted Boardman
