Ted, I have a 486 \ 66 mhz with 16mags of ram. I have installed the program on to my hard drive. But when I go to the interface main menu to activate 3D studio I get the following message: EXPANDED MEMERY MANAGER NOT PRESENT. CHECK YOUR CONFIG. SYS FILE, OR REFER TO THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT SECTION OF THE INTERFACE. Please help me! I'm a little excited about learning to program. Thanks, Bruce

>> EXPANDED MEMERY MANAGER NOT PRESENT << What you need to do is set the parameters in the Config.sys file so there is a line at the beginning something like this: Device=c:\dos\emm386.sys….with some options. I don't have my dos manuals handy and I use a program call QEMM, so don't want to give you the wrong switch setting. Check your manual and make sure you have the switch set to give "expanded" memory. If you don't find it or if someone doesn't jump in with the setting, I'll be back Sunday. Good luck -Ted Boardman !^NavFont01F000DMGJHGiMGkHHA38FA5
