Hi gentlemen (Mike and Dave),
Sorry to jump into your party, but since the Reno-Carson dudes were getting
chummy, I thought I'd let you both know that I am also a 3DSer and i live in S.

Dave: Can you give me more info on the Reno User Group?
Maybe if you guys are gonna have a beer…perhaps…I
mean…well…possibly…I could tag along?

sure. the group meets once a month in reno and has a BBS! although most are
focused on CAD, a growing number are focused on multimedia. the lab we hold the
meetings at has autocad, 3d studio, animator pro and animator studio on the
systems. 🙂

well, it depends what side of the state border your on, and what releases
you're using. if you're on california side (the taxed side) or using an older
release of 3DS (like r1), no way. <laughing out loud>
we'd be happy to get together. not to far of a drive for any of us to incline
village or something. some good restaurants up there too.

Well let's turn this into a bash! <G> My name is Neil Lockhart and I also live
in Reno. Did someone say Michael Grimes?? I frequently work with Michael.
Anyway I would also be interested in getting together with fellow 3DSers, etc.
If possible please let me know when you guys will be getting together or when
the next Reno CAD/3DS group meeting will be, (I am assuming you are talking
about the Glenn Hare center building?).
Anyway good to know there are people in the area making things happen!
