Layers and Parts did have an interaction problem in V1.0, Parts allways ended up on Layer A0. Use Stats to change the layer of the part. You can't delete parts from the part list (directly) but you casn re-use a part name if the part isn't in use on the drawing. You could also do a Cut/Paste from the drawing to a new drawing. All parts not in use would be deleted. We are releasing an update to Draw (Version 1.1) that fixes some of the problems you mention. Dimensions will now round according to the value in rounding. Parts work correctly with layers etc,… More interesting we will be intorducing a new CAD product, Aegis DRAW Plus wich will offer the following new features. 1. Optional 640 x 400 Resolution. 2. Option Feet/Inches/Fraction for display and entry (also in 1.1 Update). 3. Improved Numerical display (also in 1.1 Update). 4. Improved Numerical entry (also in 1.1 Update). 5. Ellipises. 6. Seperate plotter simulation with Amiga graphics printers. 7. Arrays. 8. Mirroring. 9. Pick Plotter (also in 1.1 Update). 10. Metamorphic Hook tool ala Aegis Animator. 11. Part accuracy improved and you can set "origin" of part. 12 Numerical edit allowing precise rotations and scaling. 13. 4 line weights. 14 Typing directly on the screen. 15 Font size numerically set and dimensions will also use the same font size. 16. Save color maps as IFF files. 17. Load IFF color maps. 18. Create Part lists. 19. Select center of rotations. And more to come.
