#Mycli 2.0
1 messages in this thread
I have found a couple things about it that I don't quite like. First, the
program re-assigns the c: psuedo-device. That is just fine within mycli,
as the default path does include sys:c/ so it will look there later.
Unfortunately, if I am running any other normal CLI windows (which I
usually do, because I assume them to take up less memory, and also that a
cli window will never fully close if it still has programs run out of
it–and a window that can't do anything left on the screen strikes me as
awfully messy). I am not a C programmer, or I would try to fix that
myself.
The other problem is that the 'extended' forms of many amigados commands
aren't supported. Like the copy or delete all, or multiple delete (delete
filea fileb filec), or type opt h (I don't remember about dir opt a). I
can understand leaving out these things, but I did like them. Also, I was
trying to get the Autoexec.BAT file to re-assign c:. It didn't work right,
but I'm going to mess with it a bit before I give up on that one. Later,
