Joe I have written a few assembly language programs and have had no problem
with CloseWindow. I use Metacompcos assembler and Metascope also. (Isn't
metascope great!?). In DL6 you'll find an archived file called WCLOCK.ARC that
I wrote and it uses CloseWindow ok. The code in that file may be a little raw
since I lost my original source and ended up using metascope to produce the
code you'll see in WCLOCK. I hope this helps. You might also want to take a
look at SCLOCK.ARC even though it does not use CloseWindow.
I can't figure out what is wrong. Maybe your corrupting your window ptr at
some point? Or the contents of the window ptr's record? Sorry I can't be of
more help!
