We are in the final testing stages of a new hardware based debugger for the
amiga. If you know of SERIOUS (Guru visits, machine locks up. . . etc.) flaws
in Fred Fish or other P. D. Software, please advise. Programs for Aztec C will
be given priority. My favorite bug would be a crash that occurs under
specific, fairly repeatable conditions. We've already used thi the thing on
it's own software, now we want some real-world problems to solve. A bug in
kickstart or amigados might also be tackled, although the lack of source will
impose a few limitiations. Please leave a message describing the problem, how
to reproduce it, and, unless the program is on Cserve, how to get it.

Ed,
Download AHOST.EXE from DL4 (if you don't already have it) and do a
B=Protocol download on a noisy line…the program will lock up.
Don
Open a window (A) on workbench. Open another window (B) on workbench. A->Flags
= NULL A->IDCMPFlags = NULL
activate A, hit menu button, GURU #8.
Try to talk to a rastport of a window that is not yet opened — #3.
All sorts of ways to crash this machine from the coding side if you aren't
paying attention!
