You're giving CBM credit for SMART? I'm sitting here 2.0 years after
buying my Amiga. I've spent several THOUSAND dollars on doodads to go with
it. Software, disk drives, monitor (Mitsubishi), etc., etc., and not ONE
CENT of that money went into Amiga's pocket.
Well, I take it back. They got $14.95 out of me for 1.2. Hardly
covered their cost, i bet.
I could have bought a Sidecar, but when they finally shipped it, the
A2000 overshadoweed the thing. I could have bought a BridgeCard, but when
they finally shipped it, they were talking about a '286 card, and I didn't
have a 2000 to put it in, 'cause there was no reason to change from a NICE
keyboard to a LOUSY one, and the keyboards wefren't interchangeable.
I could have bought an AmigaModem, but they were 1200 only, and I'd had
that levelof technology for a long time and wanted to move up. I could
have bought a 2080 monitor, instead of this MissBishi, but THAT thing's
STILL not shipped!
Where is the smart at CBM? They've sold me almost NOTHING, and I'm a
RABID fan of the Amiga! Apple would be into me for THOUSANDS by now.
