Hello, all you heavy duty hard disk hackers! I gotta good one for you. I bought a surplus CDC hard drive for a lot of money, but I got no docs with it. If you have a cdc manual handy could you tell me: a. Size of drive in hds/cyl/sec and/or total sectors b. how to set the scsi address c. what the jumpers do d. when it was made e. how to get a tech-ref manual f. how to set the sector size Here is what I know: Model: 94171-300(300 meg?) Part No: 77777000 Serial No. 03007797(the 7797th 300 meg they made?) Lot No. 0-8751 (51st day of 87?) The box had a manual #77738214 on it but I'm not sure it was the original box. Thanks in advance, Dave Weinbach , Sysop, TheDataBusBBS @716-654-9458 24 hrs (72576,16)CIS (OPR955) P-Link Note: the BBS runs on a pc clone until I get this drive up, when I will switch to amiga for amiga, the way it should be.
