No panic yet, just a tech question. I got the A-500/2000 serial port pin
coKN from Don over in the tech forum. It states:
Pin 9 is +12v Pin 10 is -12v
On the A-1000 however,
Pin 14 is – 5v Pin 21 is + 5v Pin 23 is +12v
The A-1000 lacks a -12v. It seems a simple pin swap is not all thats needed
to get the A-500/2000 ECE MIDI interface to work on the A-1000.
Is it my imagination or am I up the creek? I'll throw this to Barry also
and see what he says since he did the oppisite swap. Perhaps you hardware
hacks can think of something. Any ideas? Thanks Rick. Roger
