I do think that since COMAL is available for the Apple and for the IBM, it has
a better chance. I'd like COMAL for the Amiga because I'd like to use it
myself! It makes more sense to me than anything else available. I hate to
admit this in public, but ……….I do not love C! Oh, I've been through the
manuals, tried a bit, (cried a bit?) written a little ditty in it here and
there – but I STILL do not love C. Give me COMAL any day.
I first bought a COMAL cartridge from Len back about 1984, and used it to keep
extra bright 7th grade students busy in the back of the room while the slower
students finished their math. They loved it. Yes – I can see giving COMAL to
kids in very early grades for the LOGO-style graphics, and then building on it
all the way up.
