At work we just received an A2500 with a Magney (not sure about the
spelling) genlock. It works great by itself, but it causes problems with our
frame grabber. Both factories were called and they said that no frame grabber
will work with this particular genlock. Well I was told by a reliable source
that it is possible to make the two compatible, but the source doesn't know
how. Does anyone know the secret or does anybody know why this genlock messes
up the frame grabber. Any help will be appreciated.

Either send the board back and get another genlock (since the factory
<I presume you mean the manufacturer> says it won't work..they should know what
they're talking about) OR have that "reliable source" tell you how he knows it
will work as you wish and follow up on that.
