Keith… Thanks alot. I DOWnloaded a prog in LIB 13 that lets me draw simple yet multi-colored images, and it saves them in the correct form. Looking at the code that the prog dumps out I can understand how Images and PlanePick/PlaneOnOff works (sorta <g>). Thankyou for the informative reply. David

Sure thing…. which program did you get? Actually, while I used to use NGI to convert the images, I now use a little paint program I wrote… it will let you do many of the basic paint functions (draw dots, lines, circles (filled/un-filled), elipses (f/u), boxes (f/u), clip brushes, flip brushes, ahlf/double brushes, load/save brushes/pics as IFF, C or asm source… and a few other things. I wrote it just as an excersize in using the Amiga's graphic routines, then added the 'save as C/asm source' and turned it into a handy little gadget maker (or toucher-upper). Maybe one of these days I'll finish it up a bit and release it. Glad you got something working, Keith
