#HD floppy on Amiga?

I don't believe that the amiga can support the 1.44's due to chip constraints for timing (Paula?)

The 1.44 3.5 inch disks use double the data rate of the 720K (880K Amiga) drives. Unless the controller is set up for it, all you will get is low density.
