Several people have tried the 396i and got it to work fine, as long as you
don't want the extra memory on it. (They're working on that!) The PC
Elevator, I don't think works with the V. 2.0 software, unless they've made
recent changes in it.

Ah, there's the rub! I do indeed want the extra memory — that's my major
objective, in fact, since I want to do some serious database stuff. What
is the problem with the memory — not being able to set BB to 256k as with
the Intel board?
