Hi All: I am using the Lattice Screen Editor (from version 5.04) and have been generally pleased with it. However, I sure would like it to have a file requester because I can never remember file names. Does anyone know if the new version of SAS C (I think its 5.1) will have a file requester in the screen editor ????? If not, does anyone have a recommendation for an editor for C code. One that has a file requester and uses menus and help screens liberally so that I dont have to look up the editor functions. It also would be nice if it had a print function from within the editor. Sort of (1) print document, (2) print marked block, kind of stuff. Thanks for any input.

Bill: You can always use the ARP file requestor. Just use ClockDJ, and get ARP.library. Then you can "hot key" a file requestor, select a file, and when you hit return, the next time your click the mouse using your left mouse button, the file name will be printed out at that point on your screen. (Khalid Aldoseri has one around here that's even better, btw [a universal file requestor that comes up at any time and write the file path and name you selected to any point you select with the mouse). ?|^] Ray Lewis
