I hadn't seen mentioned before how nicely the latest version Amiga WordPerfect handles timed backups, specifically recovering files after an abnormal termination. The next time the user starts the program, a great big warning screen appears, explains that backup files exist, and takes the user directly to the file view where the files may be renamed. I believe 5.0 for DOS still limits itself to "Old backup exists 1)Delete 2)Rename" after the user has hit the time limit in a new session. THol() { cout << "Sir, I exist." ;}

Thomas; Yes, the Amiga version handles that better. 73, bill
