<PMJI> Xi Computer was the fastest in your last two May reviews. I'm
on the verge of a purchase and I'd like to know how it's stacking up
against the Micron you just mentioned. I'm basically buying the same
configuration. I sure would appreciate your feedback.

The Micron has proven to be almost twice as fast as the Xi from last
year. So far, the Micron is the only PCI Pentium we've looked at.
There are a number of machines scheduled to arrive in the next couple
of weeks for our annual comparative review, so I guess the jury is
still out on the absolute fastest, but I am very happy with the
Micron. If you're getting the same configuration I currently have, I
think you'll be very happy.

I've been talking to the people at Micron and so far it is on the top of my
list. I should be making the purchase soon, maybe we should get together
and compare notes.
Did you get your animation to run as a screen saver under 3DPC?
