Realize, please, that at most magazines the editorial and publishing unit, and the subscription unit are completely separate areas that hardly ever even talk to each other! Doing nothing will not usually solve the "problem". What I do is take their dunning notice, write a note, put it in their envelope and spend 25 cents on a stamp (unless it's a post-paid return envelope!). The note would say, "Although I am NOT an owner of either an Amiga computer or Amiga software, I appreciate your GIFT of a single unsolicited copy of your magazine, AmigaWorld. I fully realize my memory is imperfect, so if I have subscribed, please forward to me a photocopy of a contract or order form that has my signature on it, and I will gladly pay for the single issue I have received. Until you can do that, please cease any dunning notices and remove my name from your mailing list." If you know a lawyer, put at the bottom, "CC: <Whoever>, Atty." . . . . . . JimDoc
