A number of Amiga users have experienced problems with the Rodime
hard drive and 2090A controller. These problems include unexpected drive
freeze or shutdown, uncertified bad sectors, unusable disk space, etc. The
shutdowns are only fixed by a cold boot – not much of a fix for RAMDISK
users – and no DiskDoctor or repair program or any level of re-formating or
re-installation helps with the bad sectors or the corrupted data.
Anyone experiencing similar problems is urged to contact the
gentleman below, who is trying to storm the Bastille of the expected
corporate cold shoulder so far shown by Rodime.
