You can do likewise with the Mega Midget Racer. It plugs into the 68000
slot, and the 68000 plugs into it. It provides socketing for 68020/030 and
68881/82 as well as 500 K of 32-bit ram and a card connector to add more 32
bit ram. The card does not use a slot (I should have said it plugs into the
68000 SOCKET); it is hardware and software switchable between 68000 and
680X0, is available unpopulated, and supports 680X0 up to 33 MHz and 6888X
asynchronously up to 50 MHz. It's available from CSA in San Diego, (619)
566-3911. I heartily recommend it. — Mike — P.S. Instruction and data
caches are independently software-switchable at any time and can be
software inspected — all the needed software is supplied, as well as
software that maps the ROM Kernal into the 32-bit ram.
