#Whap! and HST !

Jim,
Can you help me with my problem with Whap1 and my HST modem ? It seems
that Whap! does not respond to the modem hanging up on CIS, and Whap1 just
waits there. Do you need a special startup string in Whap! to use this

I just use the one provided with Whap. Sometimes Whap doesn't recognize
the hangup, but as near as I can tell, it's due to the modem (HST) cutting
off too quickly. I suppose you could modify registers S19 and S10 to
higher values and try from there. I've just learned to ignore it,
especially since it doesn't cost anything.

Judd,
CIS sends a ^D immediately before disconnecting. If your modem
disconnects earlier there's not much you can do other than hit "Abort
Session Now".
