I need some help with Might & Magic II. I just gained major experience points from defeating the cuisinarts. Weh I went to train each member of my party gained fivr to six levels… all are now level 24. The only problem is that neither my Paladin nor my Archer gained any spell levels. There were messages on the screen that both had gained "New Spells" like usual, but when I checked they were both still at Spell Level 7. Is this the max level for these classes? If not do these guys just prgress at a MUCH slower rate from clerics and Sorcerers? I can't figure out what happened. I also noticed that I'd lost – not gained spell points after training. This happened once before because I was starving. This time everyone had planty of food, but I'd picked some fruit from a tree or two. I assumed that this was the cause and after a "Feeding Frenzy" everything went back to normal. Another thing I was wondering concerns the circus. I was only able to raise my stats to 100 here. Is that the maximum allowed? Lastly, some of my stats have dropped… those that where enhanced at the circus it seems. Could this be due to Age or perhaps the opposite? Did I lose some points by rejuvenating too far? Hope someone can answer these for me Thanks!

Randy, It's been awhile since I've played, but I think I can answer your questions. Yes, Archers and Paladins can only learn up to Level 7 spells. Yes, hunger can adversely effect your gaining stats. And yes, you can only raise stats to 100 at the circus. If they appear to then drop, it's because youh'd already raised the stats by using a particular weapon or object. When you switch weapons or whatever you lose their additional help. Since the circus will only allow you 100, it's best to go there without much magical baggage to ensure you get the best stats possible. After that your magical items can increase stats beyond 100. Lee
