Chris: I ran TAD at work today, and used AVAIL to check ram usage before I ran it, and during the time I ran it. Unless I'm crazy, TAD comsumed 3.1 MEGS of fast ram BEFORE I loaded any pictures into it! JUST BY BEING RUN! Now, I love the program, but, geez Perry, do you have to hog THAT much ram? ?|^] Ray Lewis

Ray, I was told (or read) that TAD will consume as much available memory as possible, that you should run other programs first before launching TAD. I've found that anything else that is run after TAD will probably crash on you, especially ProPage. If you switch back to PP and find it in a lo-res screen don't click in it! Just get out of that screen pronto! Go close TAD down before returning or you'll be rebooting. chris AT&G
