Is any of your group familiar with Vibrant's Soft engine 3 for acad 12?
I read the ad for it for the first time ; it comes w\ the Liquid $peed mailer.
At any rate it is supposed to replace the tablet and any need to look away from
the screen thus boosting productivity allowing you to quickly afford that much
needed trip to Europe!
I guess this is the wrong forum for this question but I'm doing Acad for
the modeling and 3ds file benifits anyway.
Also do you know which forum would be best for questions and discussion of
HRQFX? I'd like to get online w/ questions? Thanks, Gary
Gary – there are several AutoCAD drivers that let you display icon menus. The
one that comes closest to replacing the tablet, and I've been using it for a
few years now, is AutoIcon from Expert Graphics.
This topic, if it's concerned mostly with AutoCAD, really belongs in the ACAD
forum rather than here. There's a big discussion going on over there about
SoftEngine 3.0 that's mainly to do with the an unadvertised component… what
they call in fine bureaucratese, a "feature key". What it is, is a hardware
lock.
