You suggested that the 16% vertical stretching of the tablet input on my AniPro
screen might be due to having configured the tablet while in 320×200, but I
have checked for that and it's not the cause. I have configured the tablet
every which way but it stays the same. The problem is most likely in the
SUMMA.IDR driver in AniPro, especially since the problem does *not* appear in
Windows or Dosshell. But I am now solving the problem as follows:
The summagraphics III tablet comes with a utility called SEND.COM. With the
/Cr switch, I can reset the vertical resolution. I had to get the complete
instructions faxed to me from Summagraphics technical support because the
driver user guide does not explain how to use the command.
If Adesk comes out with a bug fix for summa.idr, or if mine is defective and
can be replaced, I would appreciate someone letting me know.
PS: regarding the other problem with lockup and loss of config, it's possible
that it's working okay now after my various re-configurings, I can't tell yet
(intermittent).
Thank you for your attention.
