I know you have the IBM version, right?, but I hope this works as well.
Go to the Preference menu and select Function Keys. This will give you a
list of 20 functions, 1-10 = respective FKeys 11-20 are the shifted FKeys.
Click on the FKey you want to alter, then use the pull-down menu and
select the function you want for that FKey. (NOTE: Selecting the Editor
will give you the appropriate pull-down menus.) You can then save the
changes.

in 3.0, you can select an object in the Stage editor and have its Action
timeline pop up at any time for quick adjustments. There's almost no need to
ever enter the Action editor anymore!
