Rumor has it that GVP (and probably others) are getting ready to release an expansion box for the A1200. I heard it would sit under the machine. I want either the A1200 or the A4000. I probably do not need even the speed of the '030 nor very much expansion but I do want to get a Bridgeboard (386 or beyond), more memory, clock, etc. Is there enough substance to the rumor that you are willing to discuss features and virtues? If so, which route is likely most economical for me? If not for the desire for a little more but not a lot of expansion capability, I'd probably already have the A1200. But the A4000-030 is alluring yet just a few hundred rich for my hobby needs. In the long run, not yet committed, what might be best? Jump in with yhe A1200 or wait awhile more till I can't resist the extra bucks. I want to help Commodore, the economy, GVP, my local dealer and myself as soon as possible. Let's get this economy confident again! My Series II A500-HD+ has been so serviceable and trustworthy (and you run such great ads) that I trust you guys! (Although, for some reason the words "fox in the henhouse" keep coming to mind.) Thanks, Ken
