I'm looking for any Rendering and Animation applications that run on a sparc station. if you know of any please let me know! I've been using Autocad/Autoshade and now 3D-Studio 2.01A and have just purchased the upgrade for 3.0. Can wait to use the new features like the network rendering! To me that will be a great advantage being able to split the rendering across machines without having to buy extra copies of the software. Back to the SUN! We just purchased one station and might be converting to all Sun Sparc stations. If this happens I will have to try to find another rendering package. Not that I really want too! But lifes hard and dont allways go the way you want!! Sigh!! Thanks! Bill Scott <72002,313>

I think ElectorGIG's 3DGO is available for the Sun, but I'm not positive. I'm quite impressed with 3DGO's output, although Kevin Krell just mentioned he was not. Different tastes… John Tissavary (La Luna cie)

Bill: No, I haven't used it, I'm strictly a PC based animator! Are you going to be working with a UNIX based system. If so I would be interested in details. Bob W.
