Jim: I've been holding off purchasing any of the graphics cards since
you mentioned the 'Edge' here on CompuServe. Any idea on when it
might be available? I want to get a graphics card that will do
justice to my 4000 with Emplant and WarpEngine, and the Edge sounds
like just the card I was looking for. Also, does the Edge come with a
video passthrough so that normal Amiga modes can go through it if
need be?
Yes, the EGDE does have single monitor (passthru) support. We are
looking at late October before it's available.

I am curious, what is the Edge? Also are the rumors about an 060 coming
from you accurate? If so, I think I'll hold off on a Warp Drive.
Do you have an expected price range for the Edge?

Sounds great Jim. I've been waiting for a board like this for quite
some time. All of the other boards I've looked at had some kind of
shortcoming's that has kept me from purchasing a 24-bit board. Either
it didn't have a monitor passthrough, didn't have Zorro-III
autosense, or the software was lousy. So with my WarpEngine, Edge
graphics card, and Emplant, do you suppose I might have a fairly fast
Mac or PC <g>.
OK for a passthru but do you have added flicker fixer function ? Now I
have a Picasso card and a monitor which not accept 15.5 kHz… For
use it I need a flicker fixer and the graphic card. If the this
functin is on the card it is better for me !
No, the EDGE does not have a flicker fixer built in, however, like the
Picasso, EGS Spectrum, and Piccolo video boards (all use the Cirrus
5426 gfx processor), you can (with a 15->23 pin adapter) use a 1084
monitor.
