I am having fun with palettes in windows with flics and gifs. I am running in
256 color mode in windows and a bunch of gifs and some flics. I need to get all
of them in the same color palette and run under windows with the mci commands.
It seems that I always get a color flicker going from gif to flic and back
again. even though the gifs and flics say they have the same palette in ani
pro. If I load the flic in Video for windows and look at the palette, its
different than the gif. How can that be. Hope there is someone with knowledge
out there.

Windows reserves the first ten and last ten palette positions of the 256 color
palette for its own use. To minimize palette problems, convert your animations
to 236 colors, leaving the first and last ten positions unused.
