I am an experienced 3DS User who has switched to a new computer 486/66 EISA
system. I have recieved 2 type of error messages:
(1) When I am trying to shell out to DOS I get: No RAM for Program
(2) When I am quiting the programI get: Memory Allocation Error Cannot Load
Command, System
Halted
I have tried various config.sys files, and have tested the memory on my PC
everything checks out. If anyone can give specifics, please help me out.
Thanks, Kyle
The first problem could happen if you don't use 3DSHELL.COM on certain
machines. Is that how you're invoking 3ds? The second problem is a sure sign
that something is flaky in the way your new machine is doing memory management.
I'm basically a hardware idiot, but perhaps one of the hardware jocks here on
the forum could help you diagnose it.
