#ATCEC Chair Report
8 messages in this thread
13. As the ATC network evolves and changes, there are some questions and
concerns about the present makeup of the ATCEC, and its purpose, and
usefullness to the local ATC's and Autodesk. You the local ATC Managers need
to let us the ATCEC know what we need to try to do for you. We are local ATC
managers ourselves, and represent a good cross-section, but we cannot know and
understand the individual situations of each one of you. So pick up your
phone, and call us and let us hear your concerns. We will be discussing this
issues at the Managers meeting in October. 14. The 1994 ATC Managers meeting
will be held just before Autodesk University, October 22-24. We have planned
three days of packed meeting on a number of issues. You should have recieved a
Blue registration brochure, get it filled out, and back in the mail today. If
you cannot find the blue brochure, give Gloria Bastidas a call and she will get
another one out to you. Bring as many of your instructors as you can to
Atlanta. 15. These are some things you need to do before the managers meeting.
A. Let your Regional ATCEC rep know your concerns.
B. Send to me a list of any questions you want answered at the Meeting.
C. Get to work with your local dealers, it really is EASY !!
D. Market the heck out of your ATC, and fill those empty seats.
E. Tell us what you think of the National AD campaign.
16. Grace Gallego, our manager at Autodesk is on sabatical, and will be gone
until October 17. So if you need something, call Gloria Bastidas, or me or any
one of the other ATCEC members.
Finally if you read this, please send me a reply, since we need to see everyone
up hear on CIS, remember that is one of the easy things to enforce in your
contract. I will start counting now.

Issues forum. Sorry !!

Mike,
I think I've got all the ATCEC Chair Report. It seems to be broken up in a
couple of pages. Glad to hear about Lynn and sorry to hear about Phil. I'll be
sure to work on the items you mentioned in #13 for AU.
Take care,
David
Hi Mike…
I'm "hear'.. your roaming, wanna-be ATC.. Hit Return!!! How's doing?? Looks
like you guys are shaping up for a big event at AU. I'll be arriving Wed. the
19th for some Exam Board meetings.. then hanging around 'til the following
Thurs.. the 27th. I'm trying to get the real Bill Elliot camp (outa
Dawsonville GA) to respond and let me pop up there to meet "DAD" as it were…
I wonder if he'd let me drive one of those cool cars???
Hit Return…Bill Elliott
Dear Bill,
Nice to hear from you, are you on the road all the time, or doing some training
there at home ?
Mike Stewart
Hey Bill!
Answer your phone, will ya! <g>
I've got a full room (9 people) for the exam beta test, scheduled on Sunday
9/18. What info do you need from me?

MIke…
Your message starts at 13… is there some part missing?
Although My ATC Manager is not actually online I do keep them abreast of
all which goes on here.
We do not seem to be getting any calls from the Ad campaign. I do not
believe we have yet paid our fee for the advantage plus, but we have indicated
that we want to be in this program could this be the problem?
Roger C.
Dear Roger,
I assure you that paying your ATC Advantage fee is not the problem. The 800
number used gives the people the ATC's closest to their locale, and apparently
people in your region haven't called yet.
Mike Stewart
P.S. Thanks for the ideas on the national ad campaign, I will pass them on to
Cindy Morey.
