Hi Brian, Could you please tell me what the latest versions are of the VBX and DLL files for the VBX player?? I want to know if I have the latest versions or not. I'd like to know the latest version numbers, file dates, and file sizes. I'm having some memory problems with the controls and want to know if there is a more recent version I can try. Also, is there a new version on the way?? Thanks, Dave

<<I'd like to know the latest version numbers, file dates, and file sizes.>> I don't have that information handy right now, but if you download VBXFIX.ZIP and WINPLA.EXE you will have the latest versions of everything. <<I'm having some memory problems with the controls and want to know if there is a more recent version I can try.>> The latest versions are the ones in those files. <<Also, is there a new version on the way??>> Sorry, I can not talk about future releases of products or developers kits. -Brian

>> I'm having some memory problems with the controls and want to know if there is a more recent version I can try. << There are 2 properties; Color Cycling and Use All Colors; setting Color Cycling to false will produce a decrease in memory everytime the animation is run. If you have AAPlay you can produce the same results: load aaplay, load a flic, set Color Cycling off, check your memory (program manager, help, about), start and stop the loaded animation a couple of times and then check memory. As long as your animation uses fewer than 236 colors these settings should not cause a problem. – Tim Hitchings Visual FX Software Written 08-Sep-1994 @ 18:20:24 EST Using: Windows NavCIS PRO 1.25
