Hi ! I solve my storage problem with a Bernouilli 150 transportable. It's a kind of big floppy drive of 150 Meg. I can put flc on it and play it directly from the cartrige. The best arrangement is with a SCSI port. It's a little bit expensive about 1,000$ in Canda, but if I need another 150Meg I just have to buy another cartridge. I found that casette type less avantageous because you have to download everything on your hard drive to use your data any way and the transfer on casette type storage device is a lot longer. The Bernouilli can work thru the parallel port but it doesn't work with the 3DS lock on the parallel port. Parallel port is slower than SCSI too. So the best deal is to use it with a SCSI card. For more look at Go IOMEGA forum.

Thanks for the tip Pierre. I hadn't thought of running animations from my backup device. It's a very appealing idea, but the cost may still force me to buy a tape drive.
