Hi all,
We just got some cool new computers in and they have Diamond Stealth 64 PCIA
(??) (looks like a microchannel bus) video cards. There does not seem to be a
vibrant option for this card,…. and the mouse is freezing when 3DS
initializes. I think it's a video address thang but I'm not too sure. Can you
folks render some assistance??

P.S. When's the IRIX/UNIX 'port coming?? 🙂
I've never heard of that card, Spencer. And since I'm basically a hardware
idiot, there's not much I can tell ya.
Re the SGI renderer, it's not a port. It's just a networkable "node" renderer
that requires the DOS version of 3DS somewhere on the network to drive it. Re
ship dates, you'll have to contact an Autodesk person.
