As per your instructions with LHA138.RUN on a disk in DF0: I ran a shell and
typed in DF0:LHA138.RUN . The response was "File is not executable" I checked
in DFO: disk and when show all files is activated LHA138.RUN is in there. Am I
missing something. It's not easy being a slide rule guy today.
If your error message was "Not an executable file" then you spelled the
name correctly and your computer did find the file on the disk – but for
some reason, the file must be corrupted.
Did you download that file with XModem? If so, you might have to run a
program called CHOP to cut off the silly stuff that XModem sometimes puts
on the end of files to fill out a partially filled block. Hang in here,
and we'll find the answer – but it may take a little more work.
Nothing wrong with slide rules except that so few people nowadays can use
one. My husband could work a slide rule MUCH faster than a calculator –
but with less accuracy, of course.

How did you download LHA130.RUN from CIS? Did you use Xmodem? If so, you
need to use a terminal program that 'chops' the extra bytes off the file
that will get appended with xmodem.
You need to probably contact at users group or find a Fred Fish disk with
a terminal program capable of doing CIS Quick B. That should solve your
problem..
