Ok, I came, I saw, I was impressed! Tim Jennison and company demoed the Flyer
in San Fran Sept 17th. It was basically the same software as the NAB show. But,
he said demo units go out by the end of the month, and they'll ship the
backordered units about 6 weeks after that. Also, 4.0 will be ready, with the
new ToasterPaint, which I thought was very impressive! And he said they have
about 500 video effects now! He also said that it does keep SMPTE timecode with
the video signal, however, it doesn't work with EDL's, as far as I could tell.
Anyway, I would love to have one in my system!
