I would like to know what the System requirements are for using Lightwave 3D. I
have an A2000HD (68000) w/2.04 and 2.5 Megs of RAM. Will it need anything else
to run?
A lot more RAM and a good accelerator.
It might actually run in 2.5 and it probably doesn't have an accelerator
as a technical requirement, but I doubt you'll be able to do much with it.
It'll be WAY too slow and you'll be limited in the complexity of the
rendering you could do.
I do know where to get 2620s with 020 and RAM fairly cheap, and that
wouldn't be as fast as you'd really like, but it might be a decent
compromise with the wallet…
I would appreciate the info about the 2620's w/ 020 & RAM. How much would that
cost as opposed to an 030? I'm trying to trade my Amiga for an older Mac and
the person is very interested in Lightwave. Thanks for your reply.
