HELP! I'VE CREATED THIN BANNANA LIKE PROFILES (TOP & SIDE) IN THE 2-D SHAPER TO BE USED IN THE FORM FIT TOOL IN THE 3-D LOFTER. NO SYMETERY. THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT THESE THIN BANNANA LIKE SHAPES COME TO A SHARP POINT. THE SHAPES COME ACROSS OK INTO THE 3-D LOFTER, BUT WHEN I PREVIEW OR MAKE THE OBJECT THE TIP FLATTENS AND THE TIP VERTICE ALIGN WITH THE TWO CLOSEST VERTICES . I'VE TRIED CHANGING WELD TOLERANCES AND JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING I CAN THINK OF IN THE 2-D SHAPER AND 3-D LOFTER. IS IT A BUG? DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? THANKS IN ADVANCE PS: HAPPY NEW YEAR

George – You mention two shapes for X and Y, what type of shape are you lofting? Are you using "Gen Path" after you import your X and Y shapes to create a path from the control points or your shapes? If not try it. You may need to experiment to get the control points in the right place to create a proper path. -JE
