David: The most common and perhaps the best method to print a 3DS image is to print out of windows. You can take advantage of various printer driver settings and the myriad of options that your windows based paint package may offer. I mainly use PhotoStyler for printing my 3DS images although there are many other choices. Depending on the amount of printer memory you have, you should be able to print to the laserjet III. I have printed to this device but only very small b/w files. Bob

The trick is having a program to make hardcopies from images, so it's not even a 3D Studio issue. Let me make two suggestions as I have an HP Laserjet4P which does beautiful monochromes, and a Fargo color printer… for monochrome, check out PRNTGF (a utility in the GRAPHSUPP forum libraries which does a great job of printing to HP and a ton of other printer devices. It's shareware, and well worth the registration fee. For color, Check out Insight's Renderprint… a truely impressive color printing program and with an unbelievably long list of supported color printers and plotters. -dave HELP!!!!!!!!

David, As you have heard, the easiest way is to save your rendering to disk as a TGA file or whatever, and then use windows or some other program to print. Or, check out the Renderprint program from Insight. -Brian P.S. Turn off your caps lock, YOUR SHOUTING!
