Joan,
this is a known problem with FW and some printer drivers. You could try
using one of the other printer drivers from the Printer Driver library here in
AmigaUser to see if one of them will eliminate it.

sorry, but I can't. I just tried the various HP-LJ2 drivers here
sequentially until the problem went away. My only suggestion is that you try a
similiar approach, excepting that you are looking for a different driver
entirely.
