You can find DICE on FredFish Disk#491. There are BBS's that have CD-ROM's installed with Fish disks. If you can't find it, then DevWare Disk 71A&B has it as well. A C Manual can be found on FredFish 456 & 457 or DevWare 79A,B,C,D This is the cheap and easy way of getting started so you can see if C is your cup of tea. – Phillip, on AutoPilot 1.80 _____T_____ Going Amiga 'till the Sun goes Nova! * * O * * B5>ST.all

The problem with getting a freeware compilar is that it doest have the amiga includs&autodocs, or the Amiga.Lib and other required libs. I have the Goldfish CD myself, so I dont have to go fishing:) through the BBS'es. -Daniel (useing my dads account) Soaring in the CasCades

Any C compalar would be good. SAS/C would be o.k. <<What A dunce…Replying to his own messages:)>> -Daniel (useing my dads account) Soaring in the CasCades

Doug, Say, I have a bunch of stuff including a C compiler. Let me go chase it down (find it) and I'll get back to you with more details. Scott Youngren Productions

Doug, I found it. In a box of a lot of stuff (programs) I have the MANX Axtec C C68K compiler ver. 3.2 (1988) with debugger ver 3.6. This includes the manuals and original disks. I also have several 'C' related books; AMIGA C for beginners – Abucus Book #10 AMIGA Advanced C – Abucus Book #11 & some other misc. C books. You may be interested in a text editor. There's a copy of Cynus ED available also. I use it to do minor text editing on the Amiga While I do some programming in C on the IBM side at my job, I have not used this compiler on the Amiga. (However, my boss did at one time!) So I ask $25 (+ postage ?TBD?) for all the above. Scott Youngren (who has vacationed up at the Lake Chelan area a few years back!)

Doug, I'll try to check it out the compiler this weekend. remember, I have not personally used this on the Amiga. It is one of many items in a package of Amiga stuff which I bought from a friend of mine at work. He had lots of books, software, magazines. In fact, I discovered that I have two copies of the compiler! My side business of video production has me finishing a 2 hour program (simple 1 camera video of a concert and running 50 copies – 5 at a time!) So I'll try to squeeze it in! Later, Scott
