Hello all, I just noticed that a strange "banding" on most objects in my recent renders was caused (?) by the .set file's Shadow-Bias-Absolute=ON/OFF choice being changed to ON. Has anyone else seen or know about this shadow artifacting? TIA, – Ron

Consider a scene of about 100 units a "base size". Take your usual bias setting and multiply accordingly. For instance, if your scene now encompases an area of 1000 units, multiply your Bias by 10 to reach a good starting point. It will take some fiddling. Set it too high and your shadows will detach from the objects, too low and you get a banding effect. – Dave
