I keep getting an Invalid Normal Array message everytime I render an image. My
dealer has told me that it is caused by a bad import from AutoCAD, but the
problem still exists when I try to render the 3DS files that ship with 3-D
studio. Can anyone help me solve this problem?
….Invalid Normal Array…
This is a symptom that something has corrupted your 3DS.EXE file. First, check
your system for viruses very carefully. Then, once you're absolutely certain
that you're virus-free, reinstall the software from the master disks. If the
problem persists after that, go back to your dealer and get another set of
master disks.

"Invalid Normal Array" is most commonly triggered when the 3DS software has
been modified for the purpose of dongle removal. Are you using a hardware lock
with your 3DS package? If so, and you are using a registered legal copy then
you also may have a corrupted 3DS.exe file caused by a virus. You should
contact your dealer and get a new set of diskettes for installation as well as
disinfect your system for viruses.
