HI Terry,
the Hp3c is by far the best scanner out there, both in terms of one pass
scanning and compatibility and color qualtiy.
the Nikon is awesome by the hp is widely suported.
always go with the industry standard parts.
I did when i build your ASUS dual p100 and all has worked out well.
hp is the only choice worth considering.
anybody having problems is either running non industry standard stuff
or win 3.1 (G)
can never go wrong with HP

All has worked out well indeed. I haven't seen the first hint of a glitch.
(knock knock knock) <g> Good work. Speaking of which, if the accelerator cards
turn out to be worth installing, are we going to be able to open up a slot
using the 3.3 power supply and fit one in my system?
Rita wants me to ask your opinion on the Microtek II/HR LE scanner. I explained
to her that it was a different class of scanner, being a three pass and all.
She just wants to know about the quality of the imaging compared to the HP.
Thanks Cameron, Terry
Hi Terry,
yes we will be able to open up a slot with the 3.3 power supply. When you need
it, the 3d card and the power supply is yours !
microtek is a good low cost scanner, but you are right, the Hp is a 1 pass
with superior optics and compatibility.
it is a universal standard !!
good rendering !!
